Hi All,
We had blocked the line items of a contract and created New contract for same materials in ECC.
The CIF IM is active for contracts.
But in APO both the contacts are active (seen as external procurement relationship).
When I am creating the PR for such materials it is getting created by using the blocked contract.
So how to ensure that the PR is created using only non blocked contracts?
And how would blocked contract in ECC reflect in APO?
What is the thing in APO by checking of which we can certainly say that the contract in ECC is blocked?
BR,
Bob
Hi Bob,
Can you explain what you mean by "blocked"? is it in ECC or APO transportation lane that was blocked?
As far as I know, APO only looks at the start and end dates. It can not see any contract blocking that was done in ECC. You have to go into APO transportation lane and block the T-lane for the material or set the end date to today and the system does not consider this contract from tomorrow on.

Hi Visu,
It is blocked in the ECC system at contarct line item level.
Now in our scenario we are ciffing all the master data daily to APO including the contract.
What I mean is the blocked status should reflect someway in APO either in External procurement relationship or in transportation lane .
But it showing no where in APO the EP status is active for both the contracts and TL status is active.

Bob
Hi Bob,
1) The contracts in ECC will get transferred to APO only if the receiving and issuing plants or the vendor or material/plant combination for the receiving plant are available in APO.
Ensure that the above link is blocked.
2) Try running /sapapo/ccr for purchase relevant fields and then check any
inconsistencies
3) If step 1 and 2 are not able to meet your requirement, try blocked contract
which is appearing in APO by deleting in APO via /sapapo/rlcdel by selecting
the relevant category (as one time process) and then try recreating it.
Confirm your results

Hi Senthil,
The set up required for ciffing the contract is correct in our system and that the contracts are also ciffed for any changes done in them. But the only problem we are facing that if we block the contract in ECC it is no way reflecting in APO and hence the contracts in the system for the same products is going on adding new contracts without deactivating the blocked one's.
Manually deleting is not manageable. Also some process should be there which automatically takes care that when any line item in any contract is blocked in ECC the status of its equivalent EP or TL become inactive in APO.

Bob
Hi Kishore,
Here we are not blocking the entire contract but few line items of the contract.
The validity date of the contract is at the header level and so we can not follow your suggestion.
One more intersting fact which I noticed is when we are flagging info-records for deletion the same is reflected in the relevant transportation lane.
But even if we are flaging deletion indicator for contract line items; it is not reflecting anywhere (neither EP nor TL).
I am sure SAP integration is not so poor. What is that we missing?

Bob
