Hi ,
I have SAP application with SQl 2000. just due to some changes happend in quality system and i will have to go through Database refresh activity ,
Can anybody plz guide me how to do Database restore from one server to another and how to refresh it . Please provide me solution step by step . i have never gone through this kind of activity .....

Hi kamal,
You have two procedures to refresh.
1) Backup from source system and restore it to target system.
You can restore with the backup file and, after the restoration you need to execute the sql script (user_change).
Since you never gone through this refresh activity, i wont recommend this.
2) Systemcopy.
This is the best way to perform system refresh.
But, try to do this in your test server first.
Please do not expect each and every step from Forms.
