ecc6 ides installation error

hello sir,

i am a basis guy of an organisation. I have got a error during sap ecc6 install on windows server 2003 with sqlserver database. error is:-

ERROR 2009-11-02 12:20:15

MOS-01185 The subkey 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\imckqpy' does not exist on the 'localhost' host.

Plz provide ma solution.

Hi Samrat,

Please check whether you have made IP host entry in local host file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\host). your IP should entered with hostname of the system.Please check your dev_w0 and dev_server0 log file.

That could be simply because the user you are using does not have rights to access the registry.... Installation must be done with user <sid>adm and the user need to be part of the local administrators.

Hi,

after the installation of mssql server your regedit gets locked i thinnk so first you enable the registry by gvmp.msc

int hat disable regedit enable tool .afer that perform the mssql server installation i think it is a virus which will disable the regedit

please check .
