Homogeneous system copy

Hi,

We have a SAP ERP system that uses a machine with Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise edition. We want to install a development system and homogeneous system copy from production system to development. We want to install development system with windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition. Is it possible to do homogeneous system copy from a system with MS Windows Enterprise edition to a system with MS Windows standard edition?

What version of SAP are you using?

Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition is probably 32bit box...

If there is only difference of Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition then its possible there is no issue for Homogeneous system copy.

Yes, that copy should be no problem at all...
