Postings for 7 months / FIFO / Effect in SAP Business One

Customer a/c cut off on 1 Nov 2005. They are using FIFO inventory method. Recently just finished User Acceptance Test due to their internal delaying the project.

Their questions:

Can they use service invoices to update all AR, AP and Journal to chase previous 7 months transaction (Nov05-May06) to date.

Does a stocktake to date to update inventory so that all transactions are chasing up to end May.

I believe all AR, AP and GL had no problem, will there be any problem on inventory especially on their FIFO costing?

Hi Thomas Lai

Service invoices have NO affect on stock. You are purely posting the one side of the amount to an account of your choice and the other side to the BP Acc which actually goes to the debtors ledger.
