Transfer of Catalog Code instead Catalog Text to a Batch

Hi,

We are using Batch Management. Some of the Batch Characteristics are linked to Qualitative Master Inspection Characteristics.

When the inspection results are transferred to Batch, system copies "Catalog Texts" of Qualitative Charactersitics to batch characteristics. However, we need to copy only "Catalog Codes" instead of text.

Is it possible in standard? If yes, details pls.

Kindly change your Catalog text in to same as your code.

Thanks..

But, Your solution doesnot meet our requirements. We cannot change the description.

This functionality of displaying "Catalog code" instead of text is required only for few of the Qual. characteristics of a class. This requirement is even more challenging for us.

Any more leads pls?
