Business process Engien shows RED in RWB

Hi Guys,

I have successfully run few scenarios in a freshly installed PI server..

How ever I get RED in the Business process Engine...

can u pls let m eknow why this occurs?

Hi Ravindra,

Please ensure below items,

1) your CPA Cache refresh is upto date.

2) ensure both 'Maintain Definition Environment and Maintain Runtime Environment' in SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING has green check

mark.

3) Click on 'Cache Connectivity Test' in RWB - check if everything shows you green there?

Refer the Sap note: 1079557

As you mentioned that you installed PI recently, the reorganization or package processing jobs that are mentioned in the note might not be schedulled yet.

RWB-> Component Monitoring -> Click on 'Bussiness Process Engine' and check the Status of selftest.

Also monitor for error messages using SXMB_MONI_BPE.

You mean to say the status in RWB --> Component Monitoring....just click on the Business Process Engine and you get the status details below....the reason with red symbol should tell you what the exact reason is.

Thats y im baffled cos, It shows all green ..yet the RED status on BPE..

Is it ne thign to do with swf_xi_customizing???

I check even that and its all green.. ne idea y?

Strange.....as you said check what is the status in swf_xi_customizing....i think that BPM interfaces are executing successfully even in swf_xi_customizing everything will be green.....in RWB itself try doing a Repeat Self Test and check what is the latest status....or check if the symbol changes to green then.
