We have created a project thru CJ20n. Plant is coming from network profile in network. This is not editable. Hoiw we can make it editable? Why is it uneditable?

Hello,
the plant field in the network header is only changeable when a network is created. It has to be adjusted when the network is created. There is no way to adjust the plant after the creation.
The network is part of the logistic and the value of plant is fundamental here. However one can change the plant in the network activity and in the components.
Kind regards
Peter

Yes it is standard setting. The logic of making is uneditable is that netowk is having customization setting based on paramter for plant and order type T code OPUV , which governs so many thign for network like as Header assigned/ activity assigned, costing variant, stratety etc... If you change plnat manuaaly after some transaction is done in actual say ( your netowk is acctivity assigned and some actual cost is posted on activity & you change the plant, so, new plant and order type parameter combination is having header assigned network ) so, what will happend to actaul cost posted on netowk activity, in that case the smae is not possible. this is just one example,
So, system by defalut has made it uneidtable after the creation.
