How can we add new status for user status in foreign laungeage?

We are trying to add new user status from Change Status Profile for User Status in Japanese.

(T-cd: SPROu2192SAP Ref IMGu2192SAP Solution Mngru2192Scenario-Specific Settingu2192Service desku2192Service desku2192Status Profileu2192Change Status Profile for User Status)

Even though we can add and save new status, the status appears as NOT FOUND on status selection in -T-cd:solman_workcenter and T-cd:crm_dno_monitor -screens.

We think it is because of language transfer problem.

But where (probably which table?) do they translate status into different language?

Or is it a problem of something like Master language ?

T-cd: SPROu2192SAP Ref IMGu2192SAP Solution Mngru2192Scenario-Specific Settingu2192Service desku2192Service desku2192Status Profileu2192Change Status Profile for User Status. Here select your profile, then GOTOTranslationStatus Translation.

Thank you for your help.

We tried your solution before but we cannot change the status.

However I wonder if my way of doing Status Translation is not good,

because yellow following waring appears "Translation to JA language not complete" when we saved.

We read the warning but still cannot find the way,,,

Have you got any idea?

Translate all status to the destinated langusage which will remove the Warning and then change the lang of the Status Profile

Could you please confirm whether Japaneese language is there in your system? Also please let me know whether you are able to see Japaneese language in GOTOTranslationMaintained Languages?

Thank you very much for your advice.

And sorry for late reply.

We managed to solve the problem by this way.

①Go to SLFN0001 as we did before.

②Add new status in the first screen (just add something)

③Go to u2192Translationu2192Status Translation

④Select Maintenace lang: German and Language: Your lang (I put Japanese)

⑤Write status and Status and Save

⑥Go back to first screen of SLFN0001 and double click the new one that you created

⑦Add new transaction by New Entries (F5)

⑧choose transaction whatever you like (I choose it at random)

⑨Go back to first screen and make sure highest number is all the same

I have two points to mention.

①Please make sure to put transaction control (or action ) to your new one.

②Please make sure to highest number same from the top to the bottom

Otherwise the new status is not going to appear.

No. It is a problem among three language.

Let me explain it in more detail.

If I enter "Change Status Profile For User Status", the first screen is okay for us.

( There are S Profs in English and Txts in Japanese).

However if we take next step - enter S Prof (e.g SLFN0001), Short Text is always in German.

It's possible to add and save new status in Japanese,

but the status appears as NOT FOUND in T-cd: crm_dno_monitor etc.

And other default status appear in Japanese even though these are saved in German.

We would like to create new status,,,

but we and our customer cannot understand German well.

HI,

I dont whether it is due to language translation or not. But for IMG, you can define the translation in

SPROSAP Refernece IMGUtilities--Translation.
