Number Range

Hi All,

Our requirement is a Doc Type should allow both Internal & external Number Ranges.

External number could be any number, should not have any checks. Is it possible to have this scenario.

I tried to assign the Number Range type "Internal or external Number Assignment".

This allows me to have external number range with atleast one alphabetic or special character. This will not allow to create a document with numeric number only.

Please give a direction on this.

Hello Madhu,

You may need to update the forms: GET_NUMBER & CHECKNUMBER, in the program: MCDOKZNR.

It seems these user exits are to have mixed number series. I hope my requirement is not relevant to this.

Please check Internal and External number ranges whther thy are maintained only numeric.
