HI masters, UI layout is not coming in webdynpro abap

HI Masters,

when i going to do webdynpro applications , the UI layout is not coming, Please any one can give reply. I think it relate to browser problem. Is there any other causes. and also if browser related problem , please guide me in detail how to solve this problem. Reply will be highly appreciated.

have u added entry in ur host file.

check in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

ex.

10.10.10.10 <description>

hi ,

But in pre installation stage , basis person mapping with Ipaddress with host name in host file which located in drivers- etc- hosts.

but is there any other configuration we need in host file . please let me know

hi , in webdynpro abap , the UI Layout is not visible.

I did some settings .

1) in SICF t-code , i actvate the all services realted to http . i dont know which services properly need to webdynpro ui layout.

after activating those services, ui elements are coming . but when i am tryin to drag ui elemetns in to UILayout , it showing some error message. I am not able to drag ui elemetns to ui layout.

Please tell how to solve this problem.

1) if the solution is regarding ip address in host file, please guide me in depth step by step.

2) if the solution is realted to browser settings , please guide me in depth each step by step for settings in browser .

Hi

The procedure mentioned by Jignesh is right.

I also faced the same issue and after the entry of the hostname..

For eg: Goto system status and copy the ipadress and servername.

in the hosts file.

give it as under .

127.0.0.1 localhost

<your_sys_ipaddress> <systemname>

I'm glad you are enthusiastic for the NWBC, but how exactly is that going to help this situation? If the ABAP system is not addressible by hostname (or by FQDN), then the NWBC won't be able to connect with it either.

Hi,

We had a similar problem. You may have one of the below problems.

1. Yout internet explorer patches are not upto date.

2. Some installation or patches in SAP are not done properly.

For both these cases contact your BASIS team.

Hi Sujana,

Once you click on any view, on the top menu there must be a toggle button " show/hide layout preview".

Could you just try to press that button and observe if you could see the UI Layout.

which version of internet explorer are you using.

internet explorer version is -- 6.0.3790.1830.

mozilla firefox version is -- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090715 Firefox/3.5.1.

Please tell me which version is correctly suitable for solving this problem.

otherwise how can i solve through using this current version of internet explorer.

Hi,

WD_ANALYZE_CONFIG_USER run this component by passing the user, check if any configuration is set which is not allowing you to see the layout.
