How can we increase temporary credit limit of a customer without changing in fd32?

Hi

Youcan use the "Seasonal factor in %" field in OVA8.

Enter the percentage you want to increase, select the minus check box , give the temporary period for which you want to increase the credit limit in the validate date from and to and save.

If we make the chnages in OVA8 in the Tab - Credit limit seasonal factor - this is applied to all customers for which the risk category is assigned . In earlier project we had an similar requirement where in we have Created an Z table with Sales org , Customer no , Actual limit , Additional limit , total limit which can be mainatined by the business. and assigned the table in the user exist MV45aFZZ and when ever the business mainatined an additional limit , The credit check wll happen for the customer including the addtional amount also. Try this and condfirm .

You may do it from control fields in the automatic Credit control in the img screen, sales & Distribution, Basic Function, Credit & Risk Management etc. But it will equally affect all the customers in the same credit control area.

There you can control max credit limit.

You can also affect the the credit limit of all the customers in the credit control area through credit seasonal factor , for a particular time span.
