Maintenence Order

Sir,

When I Create Maintenance order there are two options

1- Release order

2- Put in process

What is the difference between these two

If I create the maintenence order and put in process that order the system generate the Maintenence order number also the same when I release the order.

So....what is the difference between these two process.......

Hi

1- Release order :

You need not to relaese the notification.That's by default in Release state.

2- Put in process:When Notification is completed & you want to again process it then you can use this tab.

The Link provied useful information regarding notification status...

But m still not clear about the order....

When I Create maintenence order directly and Put in process the order and save it The status Shown is Released Similarlywhen I release the order directy the status is again released so what is the difference between these two....

Hi Raj,

Order put in process allows u to release the order and at the same time it gives u the option of printing the shop papers of the order.. status if printed .. REL PRT

Order release allows u to only release the order status is REL
