Error Message "Company Code xxxx is not set up for ..."

Hi,

I maintained some organizational units, such as company code, sales org., distribution channel, division, plant, storage location and etc. But when I try to create the view "Sales: Sales Org. Data1" for the material master using the those organizatinal units, I got an error massage "Company Code XXX is not set up for Materials Management".

Can anyone please help me with it.

Hi Yun,

For creating the Sales org Data for a material a "Sales Area" needs to exist which is the combination of Sales Organization + Distribution Channel + Division. Also, This Sales Organization needs to be assigned to Company Code. You can do this setting at:

Customizing -> Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Sales & Distribution -> Assign sales organization to company code.

I found what the problem is.

I have do some maintenance at IMG->Logistics-General->Basic Settings->Maintain Company Codes for Materials Management

Then that error message goes away.
