Sales Order - Route manual and BAPI

All,

Manually when I create a Sales Order I am able to see the system determining the Route automatically but

When I create the sales Order via a BAPI Interface route in the sales order is blank.

Did I miss anything?

Please help.

Hi Meghna,

I'm not sure, but perhaps you need run twice the BAPI (ie: the second as a change document). Check the Note 961212 - BAPI: Multiple changes of dependent fields, althougth it refers to other fields, I think that route is a dependent field.
