Tables: ALCONSEG, ALSYSTEMS, DBSNP, MONI, OSMON, PAHI, SDBAD, SDBAH, SDBAP

I'm migrating to new hardware by performing a system copy. One of the post copy installation steps is delete all entries in the tables: ACONSEG, ALSYSTEMS, DBSNP, MONI, OSMON, PAHI, SDBAD, SDBAH, SDBAP and SDBAR from the SAP system level.

Can somebody tell what is stored in these tables? What happens if the entries are not deleted? Why should it be done from the SAP level and not from Oracle? How is it done from SAP?

Thanks,

sekhar,

may I ask why you think it is helpful to copy&paste Esha Rajpal 's answer from the link I provided?

The search button should help; I have seen the same question.

And regarding your last question, deleting from SAP or from Oracle:

I think both should work. I usually do it from Oracle, before even starting SAP.
