Merchandise Category Hierarchy

Hi Friends,

We have to do the data migration and conversion for

Merchandise Category Hierrachy / Merchandide Category

Article hierarchy.

Is there any LSMW objects available. or any BAPI methods.

Could anyone help out to get the idea of the data migration of the above.

Hi,

Check it might help you.

Use the lsmw bapi method to upload your merchendise related data

Business Object BUS1072 Merchandise Category

&

When you migrate data through LSMW+IDoc/Bapi, you don't need worry about different 'views', IDoc/Bapi is different from 'recording' (batch input), it will update the specific tables directly.

(Assume you are using Message Type -LIKOND to do it, right?)

So, no need LSMW function like 'transfer_record' at all.

'View' is just from dialog program point of view, e.g. when you run MM43.

You need to following IDocs to migrate the SAP Retail merchandise hierarchy:

CLSMAS for merchandise categories and hierarchies

W_WGRP for retail data of merchandise categories

CLFMAS to establish the links between the hierarchy nodes.

All this can be done easily via LSMW.
