settlement error

Dear All

When i am doing settlement in cj88 i am getting following error

Maintain sources for allocation structure A1 in controlling area XXXX

Message no. KD507

Please give solution to solve this error

Dear raj kumar,

Creat a Allocation Structure. the assign the Alloation Structure to Settlement Profile. That settlement to Project Profile or WBS.

Allocation structure is nothing but your source cost elements and settlement cost elements.

Source cost elements are the source of your cost on projects i.e. material,labour,overheads,miscellaneous etc.Create a group of CE for each of abive category and assign the respective CE group to them.

In settlement cost elements, depending on internal or external settlement define a CE of type 21 or 22 and assign it as settlement cost element. Also check the appropriate reciver such as WBS,G/L,Cctr etc.

you need to maintain allocation structure sources in the PS configuration, then assign this allocation structure to your settlement profile

Try by removing Source Structure from your Settlement Profile.
