HI Team

was installing ECC 6.0 dual stack with portal

threw an error at creation of SLD

ERROR :

Connect to SAP gateway failed Connect_PM TYPE=A ASHOST=altdev SYSNR=00 GWHOST=altdev

GWSERV=sapgw00 PCS=1 LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode ERROR partner

'altdev:sapgw00' not reached TIME Fri Oct 30 11:47:55 2009 RELEASE 700 COMPONENT NI

(network interface) VERSION 38 RC -10 MODULE nixxi.cpp LINE 2823 DETAIL NiPConnect2

SYSTEM CALL connect ERRNO 10061 ERRNO TEXT WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused COUNTER 1).

Hi,

As you are installing a new system, first make sure that the SAP system does work on the specified host and service. Check that the hostname and IP-address and service number is correct.

Please ensure that the correct service number is contained in the etc/services file on the machine. For more information on the configuration of the services file see note 52959.

Hi Madhu,

Check whether you are able to telnet port 3300 on server.

IF not , check whether abap stack running or not .

Maintain hosts entries in the host file. It is not recommened to have dual stacks for SAP Business suits.
