Back orders

Hi,

Pls let me know in Back orders, does it consider only open sales orders or it also considers open quotations ,open inquires etc?

Also can any one tell me where are the configuration settings for back orders?

Hi,

The t-code V_RA is used for back order processing.

This is for sales orders only because logically you are changing the material alloation in MD04.

The config for back order is,

IMG>Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions>Availability check/TOI>Availability check with ATP logic or against planning-->Checking rule for updating back orders.

The standard checking rule is BO for back order.This you can assign according to plant.

Thanks for your reply.

But in our case, quotations are flowing in the report of Tcode v.15.

Can you pls explain why this is happening? Also what configuration will be required, so that quotations will not appear in the list of tcode v.15?
