Hi dear WM Gurus !
I'm configuring an interface between WM and an external WCS software and when I try de define the Interface Control for some Storage Types to define a Source Storage Type with its code and the Destination Stoarge Type as ***, I've received the following error:
LT166 - Relationship between masked storage types must first be defined
Do anyone of you know what this message mean or what is missing in my configuration ?
Thanks in advance !
Hi
The individual storage types can be defined as masked entries. However,
if you have several such entries, you must first define how the
interface between the individual storage types is to function. For
example:
WhseNo. Source Stor.Ty. Dest.Stor.Ty.
001 *** 001
001 001 ***
001 *** 002
001 002 ***
In this case, the system must know how the interface is to react if a
movement takes place between storage type 001 and 002. This means that
the following entries must be defined:
001 001 002
001 002 001
If you have several storage types, you are faced with the question as
to whether all storage types are relevant for the interface to the
subsystem. In this case it would be better if you masked the entries
for the source storage type and the destination storage type.
001 *** ***
This is not possible at the moment. Using attached note 100073 you
can change the standard behaviour.
Kind regards,
Ramana
