Inspection Type 17

Hi,

In SAP documents I have seen, inspection type 17. What for it is used? Can anyone throw light on this?

Hi Raju,

17 origin is for lot created based on data in an external system.i.e. externally triggered inspection. Nice to have a neo's topic QIE(Quality Inspection Engine).

Hi

Inspection type 17 is used for external processing.

Let's consider you want to create Inspection lot for external processing like 0130 is used for Inspection lot origin 01.

similarly inspection lot origin can be used for external processing other than receiving inspection
