How to change RFC destination in data Object

Hi Expert,

In my scenario i have created Data objects in DOE and defined the RFC destination.Now after activation , due to some problem i have to change the RFC destination.

Now how to change this because in data object this field is deactivated.

Another thing that even when i deleted the RFC destination from SM59 even at that point of time also, when i clicked on the getlist BAPIs in my Backend Adapter, It was taking me to the backend system

why it is so ?? and how it was possible.

You canprovide the RFC destination in DOE administration portal. Goto Configurations link and search for "BACKEND DESTINATION" parameter in "BACKEND CONFIGURATION" link. Here you can provide RFC destination at SWCV level or at Data object level.

After deleting RFC destination in SM59, it will never take you to backend system.
