Netweaver Installation

Hi experts

We are installing the Netweaver 7.0 on Oracle database

we are getting a following error when we are installing the oracle

Oracle 10.2.0.1 is not supported. That version has serious bugs causing malfunction of the system. If you read the installation guide you will see that you will have to

- install the database software with the delivered DVD (as you have done)

- install the latest patchlevel (10.2.0.4)

- install MOpatch and update opatch

- install all interim patches

and THEN continue with sapinst.

I have install oracle when the system ask me to install the database (not from the Beginning of the installation)

We have used only capital script RUNINSTALLER

Ok - good (I wanted to make sure).

Please post the output of

lsnrctl stat

- Did you install Oracle prior to the first start of sapinst?

- Did you install Oracle using the capital script RUNINSTALLER?
