Date formatting issue

Hello experts.

I'm having some issues with the date formatting in Visual Composer 7.0.

When displaying the results of a request, the date is written like following:

20,090,803,083,916.00

instead of

03.08.2009 08:39:16

I looked the properties of the field, but I don't have a "Date" format.

Would anyone have a clue on how to solve this?

Thanks for your answer. But I don't know how to use this function...

First of all, the function dstr or tstr take either a date or a time, while my returning value contains both date and time.

Then, I don't know where to define the output format of the date... I tried to put it in the "custom" formatting expression, but I have an error.

Could you please explain a little more?

HI,

if the field that is returning from the back-end is a Date field, why don't you just create a "Date" types input-field

(when creating a control, you can also select it's type)

Thanks for your answer, but the problem is that the back end is not returning a type date or time, it contains both date and time.

If not, your solution would have worked...

Any more ideas?
