Need a Value of Coomodity code on the save of PO

On the save PO i want to comparre the comodity code

Hi All,

On the save of PO, I Want to check for Comoodity Code . If it is not there i need to throw an error.

I am Using BADI " ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST:" For the same .Method POST.Within method Post there is a parameter IM_HEADER

which is of type IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_MM( which is interface itself).. Within this interface there is method "GET_FOREIGN_TRADE".But when i am trying to call this method i am not getting Commodity code details.

Can any one help out how could i get the details of stawn?. Is there any exut or BADI.

Hi Vikram

Try the item level data, as the commodity code will not be available at the Header level.
