Posting error 2

While doing MIGO i am facing the following error:

Account determination for entry CAIN GBB ____ ZOB 3040 not possible

Message no. M8147

Diagnosis

The system did not find an account for this transaction. This means that the account determination for key CAIN GBB ____ ZOB 3040 is not maintained in MM Customizing (Valuation). The key is made up of:

Chart of account

Transaction key (= Posting transaction)

Valuation grouping code

Account grouping code

Valuation class

System Response

The system cannot update a G/L account for this transaction. You cannot post the transaction.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

If you have the authorization, check the Account determination in Customizing for Valuation.

Note

The relevant posting transaction can be found in Table T030A.

I try to OBYC and from there click GBB for general modifier ZOB and valuation class 3040 define the GL account, find it already have 50000000 GL account, then i change it, but still have the same question.

Kindly check once again whether you have defined the cost element for your char of accounts CAIN

Hi thyagarajan,

Why we need to create the cost element ? The G/L account exist in the CAIN, then i create a element cost, but it still has the same problem.

Hi,

I through the t-code OMWB find the Posting Lines below missing the G/L account but i can't add it.

Offsetting entry for inventory ZOB 3040 81 --Missing- 91 --Missing-

There are somethings i missing ?

Assign the valuation group to the company code, then it can work
