Hi,
We are facing some troubles doing the upgrade of the SPAM/SAINT. We have already made the kernel update to 701 and the package SAPKD70136 appears in SPAM - New Packages.
The problem is that when trying to Import Spam/Saint update it gives the error
`SPAM/SAINT update SAPKD70033 has a lower version (0033) than SPAM (0035)`
Without this we cannot procede to EHP4 installation with the EHPI.
Can anyone give a hand around here ?
Thanks in advance,
Joao
P.S.: Sorry for duplication of posts ...

Hello,
The system is a 64 bit ... HP-UX rhdev B.11.23 U ia64 3947728868 unlimited-user license.
Have done the installation of SPAM 700/36. We need to make the EP4 installation and the EHPI gave a error message that version 700 was not supported so we made the 701 kernel upgrade.
What we have now is:
Kernel 701
Spam 700/36
Will try to run EHPI Gui to see the error message that he gives now. Will update asap.
Thanks for the help,
Joao
You cannot just simply update SPAM from 700/35 to 701/36 if your BASIS level is still 700. You have to put SPAM 700/36 in order to be able to proceed with EHP4 installation. In later phases you can include SPAM 701/36 package into EHP4 installation.
Additional questions:
- why have you updated your kernel to 701?
- in which installation phase are you currently?
- what is your source/target release?
