Long text short text in support message

Hi,

This is Service desk setup. Smartform using is CRM_SLFN_ORDER_SERVICE_01.

When Iam raising a support message then the description of the smartform contains the Long text as well as the subject what I hv entered in the support message.

So subject is coming twice in the smatrform in short text as well as in Long text.

I want to delete the subject text from the Long text section.

Plz suggest how can I delete this subject from Long text section.

Solved.

I found Note no. Note 838063 (Duplicate short text) for the same requirement.

Thnx everyone for ur replies, but actually the short and long text are already concatenated in the table entry (dont know which database table) which is coming as a single row in internal table in smartform. GUI ID is coming in internal table entry.

How can I change the content and delete short text from the long text in smartform.

Hi,

Short Text is populating in SHORT_TEXT Window.

If you don't need short Text, comment it by giving some dummy conditions like (1=2) in the conditions of that window, which will not satisfy and then the o/p of that window will not be shown in the form O/P.

Also, you can comment that particualar Text Element.

Mohammed, I want that SHORT_TEXT window separately but in 'Long text' window I want to delete the short text which is coming concatenated with the long text in internal table.

there is no seperate Text Element for short text.

Hi,

Long text is being populated in INCLUDE TEXT in TEXT_HEADER_TEXTID_DATA.

Chk the WHERE Condition of TEXT_HEADER_LOOP ,TYPE_TEXT = '99' which populates the Description

Am not sure on how to remove the Short Text alone from the Long Text. Try removing tat.

That is what my requirment is which I hv already tried.

and TYPE_TEXT = 99, will remove the system data only.

Hi Divya,

I would suggest you to take help from an ABAP consultant and modify the smartform. So your mail output will get changed.

But for the description tab page i dont know how to address your issue.
