Dear All,
I have a query where I have to add a BOM under another BOM.
I have already created a component level (LUMF) BOM and it is working good. But now the requirement is that I have to add one more LUMF level BOM in this earlier BOM.
eg. BOM - "X" with components a,b,and c. I have another BOM - "Y" with component d and e.
now I want to add BOM "Y" under BOM "X" so in result I want to get BOM "X" with component a,b,c, BOM"Y"(with its component d,e listed below it).
Is it possible to get this configuration done? If yes please suggest me the steps to do in Material Master and in Bom creation CS01.
I hope u get my query and reply me soon.
Thanks in advance.
regards,
Sanju

Its a Std Multi level BOM Concept.
As said by Vishal G, maintain BOM in CS01 accordingly .
Before creating sales order, in VOV7: Item Category details (eg:TAP)- Change structure scope- from A -Explode single level BOM to B-Explode multi level BOM.

Dear Sanjay,
I do not think any special configuration needs to be done in this.
In CS01, for BOM - X you can simply add components a,b,c and Y. Here Y will also act as a component only.
Then in transaction CS12, you can view all the components required for BOM - X i.e. a,b,c,d and e.

Vishal
