Hi

The HR admin role is for carrying out master data maintainence functions that might not be possible or authorized for employees or managers

The role can be R3 based using PA30 or PA40 or Portal based using HCM processes and forms

HCM process and forms is a relatively new functionality which allows direct infotype maintainence from the Portal

via specific or custom Adobe form scenarios
