Hi Friends,

While Installing Mobile Plug-Ins in the Netweaver IDE 7.1 I am unable to find the com.sap.tc.ap\comp folder which should be present there as per the configuration guide available at the link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/b6/0f5c4a07cd4bcdb58598760cb27766/frameset.htm.

Please Suggest.

Hi Nitesh,

Mi personal recommendation is to installa the mobile plugins with the SAP installer: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/downloads?rid=/library/uuid/c0846cb5-59ec-2a10-46a2-cff9cd9b8fc3 . Try with installing just the plugins and local data objects. After that you can update the plugins (jars, folders, etc.) to the last stack (SP08) because the trial offered by SAP ys the SP03.

HI David,

The reply was useful . I am able to see the mobile plugins now in NWDS.

Now I am trying to setup the Development Workstation as per the link provided.

Thanks a lot.

HI David ,

The Procedure given in the tutorial has given the steps as shown below but they have not given the detailed steps that how can we create the

1. Data Objects ,

2. Create back-end adapters

3. Create associations ,

4. Activate the data objects and the back-end adapters in the DOE ,

5. Create a distribution model and Assign this distribution model to your test device

The tutorial discribes in the below shown manner .

1. Create an SWCV called ServiceOrderManagement.

2. In the ServiceOrderManagement SWCV, create the standard data objects: Customersand ServiceOrders.

The Customer data object must have the following attributes:

○ CUSTOMERID

○ CUSTOMERNAME

○ STREET

○ ZIPCODE

○ TOWN

○ REGION

The ServiceOrders data object must have the following attributes:

○ CUSTID

○ ORDERID

○ EQUIPTYPE

○ DESCRIPTION

○ PERC_DONE

○ HOURS_SPENT

○ MATERIAL

3. Create back-end adapters for the data objects.

4. Create associations between the two data objects: the CUSTOMERID attribute of the Customer data object must have as association with the CUSTID attribute of the ServiceOrder data object.

5. Activate the data objects and the back-end adapters in the DOE.

6. Create a distribution model for the data objects and activate them.

7. Assign this distribution model to your test device

Please suggest.

Nitesh

In my NWDS installation, it is not exactly com.tc.ap\comp

it is

com.sap.tc.ap_2.0.1.090512112616\comp

so perhaps for your installation there are a bunch of numbers after the com.sap.tc.ap
