How to configure Web Dynpro on my laptop.

Hi Guys,

I have SAP ECC 6.0 on my laptop. I want to work on web dynpro. I created simple web dynpro program, but its not working. I contacted the guy who installed it on my laptop. He told that there will be a domain server separately connected to sap server. So as I dont have domain server connected to my laptop, its notworking. he said.

Could you guys tell me how can I configure a local http server ( apache, ISS) in my laptop and connect with it to sap server??? If it is possible how?? Please tell me in detail.....??

Hi,

You need to refer to SAP Service Marketplace for this.

goto [SAP Installation Guides|http://service.sap.com/instguides]. You;d need a S-ID to login to the site.

Thanks parsenjit, But am using IDES system. And I dont have S-ID to login there and check out the installation. Colud anyone please go through that and post it here.

Hi

got to transaction RZ10, choose instance profile and extended maintanance

change the profile parameter icm/host_name_full to $(SAPLOCALHOST).<Domain_name>.<Extension like .com>

save and restart the server

If there is no SAPLOCALHOST parameter already defined in RZ10 create a new and give any name.

I m facing same problem for web dynapro on my laptop

and i m not using domain service..

My laptop is standalone

so in this case how to configure web dynapro on my SAP server
