Product Interchangeability (many to one)

Hi Experts,

I am trying to create Supersession Chain for Many to one product substition using replacement type n:1 but I am getting an error "Interchangeability group is not continuous" when i try to save it.

there are 2 line items

did it through Supersession chain with diff validiy dates.

1. Product A is replaced by product C

2. Product B is replace by product C.

Any thought, how i can implement this?

Can u pls tell on which APO version and Patch Level you are working.

Our APO version is 5.1 and Servcie pack level is 004.

I could easily create the supersession chain with your logic. So it should be working with you.

Can you please share more detail like Group Type, Direction and Use-Up

Group type: Supersession Chain

Replacement type : n:1 Substitution with Products

Precedent member type: Product

Succeeding mem type: Product

Direction : Full

Use up: YES

I am able create successfull Product to Product interchangeability and it is working fine with SNP optimizer.

Everything is looking good. Can you just try Replacement Type Product - Product and maintain two entries in that

A - C

B - C

And do let me know your observation. I guess, this should address your requirement

Still I am getting same error.

Interchangeability group is not continuous

Message no. /INCMD/MSG066

Diagnosis

You have created an interchangeability group that contains members which are not continuous or the valid-from dates that you have specified for the members are not correct

Please help.

Hi Vipul,

I understand that you are entering the preceedor product 'A' and successor product 'B' again you are maintaining second entry preceedor product 'A' and successor product 'C' .

But you have to maintain preceedor product 'A' and successor product 'B' then click on additional left side preceedor and right side successor products appear. Add only successor meterials in the right side say 'C' "D" like that.

Please Confirm.
