Hi all,
While creating a sales order , the system throws error message that "Material xxxxxxxx not maintained by accounting department".
Although the MATERIAL Master data is duly maintained with Acoounting data in the specific Plant and sales ares.
Please help in case if something is missing.

Hi,
This happens when, while creating Material in MM01 transaction selecting Accounting View but not opening that tab page before saving the material (Normally copying from another Material). You have to again create That material in MM01 with Accounting view , maintain it & SAVE. This will solve your problem.

Hi,
Have you tried maintaining it one more time?

Hello,
This issue directs us to the fact that the data relevant to Accounting view of material master record are not maintained properly.
So try in this way if you are unable to modify the value in MM02. Open the t-code MM01 and put the same material number along
with same detail of plant and sales area. Select the accounting tab 1 and 2. Enter the required information on this tab. Then after
you have saved the MMR, please retry the scenario once again.

Sarthak
