Defaulted values in the print pop up menu

Dear SAP Wizards,

Seek your advise on the following matter

When we execute any report in the background, a pop up comes with the default printer name and "some other settings" relevant to page size, send to spool, send to printer immediately and so on.

Need to know how to make changes to these "some other settings".

Please enlighten.

When we execute a report in the background , generally those popup comes with default printer name and other settings this is because of the Output type configuration . and the program that will be assigned to the output type . So if you want to make any changes then you need to select the output type and change the relevant settings

Thanks for your prompt response.

I did look up as per advise but regret to say that we are particular about a report, and that too a "background" run type. Now to such a background run report there is no out type defined.

So where to find the settings as youre advising.

Request added clarification please.

Hi Tariq

As you said in your thread that " when we execute a report default printer name and "some other settings" relevant to page size, send to spool, send to printer immediately and so on." So all page size , default printer name , send printer immediately and other settings are done in the output type and by the program.

But if you are particular about the report in the background , this is because of the program that has been assigned when we run the report.
