Hi,
I am looking for some further information on how GRC Access Control 5.3 links to BI 7.0.
Are there risks linked to access within BI or does BI just provide additional reporting capability?
Also would this require much configuration within BI itself?
Thanks
Gary,
What are you trying to do with BW?
Do you want GRC to run reports against BW in the same way as any other source system or are you trying to use the data mart extract from GRC and import that reportable data into BW (GRC 5.3 SP09)?

Hi Simon/Peggy,
we would like to use it for both purposes if relevant, but at the moment we are trying to assess the value of connecting to the BI system. Are there many standard SOD conflicts associated with transactions/roles in BI?
Also if we set up reporting in BI to report on the data in GRC- would be- spoke development be required in the BI system or can the reports in BI be easily configured?
Thanks,
Niamh

We use many features of GRC with BI. We provision users and roles to BI, we use the BASIS rules for SOD errors, and we also plan to use the BI reporting piece.
Thanks,
Peggy
