Update PI 7.1 to EhP1: error in phase MAIN_NEWBAS/JOB_RSWBOUP1

Hi all,

We have to update our PI 7.1 dual stack system to EhP1.

I run the update process through EHPI - SAPehpi_12-10007380.SAR.

Everything went well until main phase Downtime. The ABAP stack stopped with severe error(s) in phase MAIN_NEWBAS/JOB_RSWBOUP1. The last error code set: RFC_ERROR 2: DUMP_ERROR. Nowhere any glue!

Hi,

Have you checked logs of this job in SM37 why it is getting terminated ?

Also, what about your kernel, have it is upgraded properly ?

Also, check SAP note 955615 which is not for your release but tells problem with kernel and go to latest one.

The system is in downtime phase, so it is not accessible and I can't run SM37 or any other transaction.

I updated the kernel to the last version and the problem was resolved.
