KM as DMS

Hi,

We need to provide a solution to our customer for document management. Documents, referred here are unstructured office documents.

Here are the requirements;

1. Versioning

2. Workflow for publishing

3. Search Documents

4. Access rights over documents

I know that Portal KM can cover 3 and 4. But what about 1 and 2?

Answer can be for NW04 and NW04s

Hi,

Yes, with KM you can cover both of points (1 and 2).

Versioning and approval process are services that must be actived on your repository.

After that, in KM Content you access your repository and you can create folder. For earch folder you can enable versioning and process approval.
