Hi,

Please give me the solution one line item has multiple schedule line.can it be possible or not.this is in standard sap or not.

Hi,

Yes, it's possible to have multiple schedule lines for a one sales order Line item.

It can be for 2 reasons.

Imagine, your customer ask for 1000 quantity from a particular FG. Then what you can do is to create a sales order for that customer & create a one line item for that 1000 quantity.

If your planning team says they can delivery it as scattered deliveries only, let's say 250 each week. (Or customer wants to have to for 4 deliveries as 250 for each week), then you don't have to create 4 line items for that. You can keep that line item for 1000 & have 4 schedule lines with those delivery dates for 250 quantity each.

Then you can use VL10E transaction to create deliveries based on the schedule lines.

Same can be happen with ATP. If system cannot confirm it to one delivery date, depend on the ATP settings system will automatically set 2 or more schedule lines for that sales order line item.

So it's standard SAP, and it's possible.

Hi

Each line item can have one or more schedule lines. You get multiple schedule lines in case if the system could not confirm the entire order quantity for the requested delivery date. The first schedule line will be created for the requsted delivery date even if the confirmed quantity is zero and in addition to that, one or more schedule lines will be created based on the availability of stock. The backward and forward schduling play major role in creation of schedule lines.

Sales document will have only one header - one or more line items - each line item can have one or more schedule lines.
