while testing the rfc connection to saposs msg comes timeout occured

is the saprouter running on that box and is that box able to connect/ping sapserv?

Thanx for you response, yes saprouter is running on that box and i m able to ping to sapserv from there.
And you can also ping from your SAP server to your saprouter? Firewalls activated?
My saprouter is installed on DEV server.and in DEV server when i check rfc connection to sap oss it gives the above mentioned error.
you must make the PING test from OS level, not from within SAPGUI...
