Deploy error NWDS VC with NWDI

Hi,

I'm working with CE 7.11 SP3.

I tried to deploy an application with the Visual Composer in the NetWeaver Developer Studio. Therefore I created a track in the NWDI and a development component for the application. When I deploy the app using the deploy button in VC everything works fine and the NWDS Deploy View console shows Deploy Result: status 'Success'

However, the Visual Composer shows an error message:

An exception ocured at the server while running the build process. For more details please refer to the log file

The log file does not show any information about the problem.

What could be the problem? Since the application seems to be deployed already on the server, how can I find out it URL?

Hi Kevin,

Just to make sure, have you configured a runtime server in the Preferences under "SAP AS Java"?

This is the most common reason for the error you mentioned

Hi Natan,

thanks for the answer. The SAP AS is configured correctly. As mentioned I get a positive deploy result from the server but Visual Composer returns an error at the end.

I would like to find out what URL the application has so I can start it manually without waiting for VC to open the browser window.

Any ideas?
