Working on ESS portal Customization.
Scenario is :
we have a track ess_1 pointing to nd1 server on which the address application is corrupted and we have worked on other components(customization is done).
To work on only address application , we have decided to create a new track ess_2 which is being built now(basis team has told it takes 6-7hrs to do so, which is happening now) they have asked me to not work on new track which is being created . As of now we are not pointing/connecting ess-2 to any server.
My doubts are :
1.Can I work on the track ess_1 which is already present(while the new is being created).
2.What if we point the new track to same server i.e to nd1 (will it clears all the changes which were done in ess_1?).
3.Can we make ess_2 to point nd1 and work on only address application and deploy it from there.
Please help me understanding the above Scenario .
