RFC adapter(receiver): Logon fails to ECC

Hello,

I have a communication channel with a receiver RFC adapter. This is to logon to ECC and execute a remote function module.

The communication channel repeatedly errors after a few days; I fix this by re-entering the same password and activate. After a few days, this communication channel is in RED again . The error is owing to the error in logging on to ECC, but the password is unchanged.

Does anyone know what causes this?

The logon password is NOT changed.

Below is the error message:

Error can not instantiate RfcPool caused by:

com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: error initializing RfcClientPool:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.repository.RfcRepositoryException: can not connect to destination system due to: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: 00024No connect to database, session terminated??????????????????????????

The problem seems more of some database problem at ECC. This happens when some offline backups are going on the server. You may check SAP Note 72025 for this.
