Availability check

Hi,

We have an issue with the availability check.We have maintained the KP (No check) option in the material master record of the availability check field in Sales/Gen. plant tab.But when we create the SO it is going for the availability check and creating the PR for the line item.Strangely we are seeing the Availability check Y7 in the APO module.We are not very sure how this Y7 availability check is going to APO,since it is KP it should not check the availability.

Note: Availability check box and requirement got activated in the schedule lines categories.

If we check this box in the schedule line categories and we maintain the KP in the MMR also ,will it go for the availability check.

Kindly help us to solve this.

Hi Jagannadh.

If you have maintained KP (No check) option in MMR and when you create sales order as you are seeing Availability check Y7 in the APO module then check what is the requirement type coming the sales order. So you need to check the availability check configuration wheather the assignment has been done correctly with the requirement type or not

Go to OVZ9 and check wheather the data is correctly maintained or not
