Error QB 301

Hi Charith,

This error comes while creating the PO and the long text of the error is given below:

Long Text:

Vendor's/manufacturer's QM system only valid to 01.10.2009

Message no. QB 301

Diagnosis

The quality assurance system of the chosen vendor/manufacturer is no longer valid. You cannot, therefore, order the material concerned from this vendor/manufacturer.

Hi,

pl check your Quality inforecord (QI02) and chnge the date as 01.01.9999 or as per your buisness suits . problem is due to the validity date in QIR .

Hi Kamal,

As per the best practice, one should not temper the STD SAP settings till the solutionary option is availalbe with the help of data change.

This message can be solve if you go to Trx QI02, enter the Material - Vendor - Plant combination there and then change the Certification data in the Insp Control Tab.

Change it to some future data like 32.12.2009 the error will resolve.

Dear Kamal,

Error is due to Quality Info Record is no longer valid.

Please go to QI02 transaction, give the material, vendor details and plant in the first screen, you will see a place Release by in the first tab (initial screen when you go inside)http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/uac

Please change the date as for the customer requirement

The purpose of this date is until this date vendor material combination VALID, after that date this combination is not valid.

So you can put a future date until you think, which is realistic until another evaluation of the vendor.
