A store as a supplying site

Dear Friends

1st.

Is it possible to maintain A store as a supplying site in WB02

Error:

"Plant 0691 is not a distribution center

Message no. WN270

Diagnosis

Only a distribution center can be entered here as a supplying plant."

can we maintain store as a supplying site to other store as we required.

2nd.

is it possible to mainta Area of store in WB01, my area is in Sq Ft

Hello,

In site definition WB02, you need to create a Vendor view for the store. This will allow it to be used as a Supplying site.

In classification system, you can maintain Sqft of the store. In WB02, Environment->Classification Site. You may use class type 035 and assgin a characteristic (Sqft) to the class (which is higher node of the store).

we are using classification site in Environment ie type 030 to enter CONCEPT

If we req sq ft what settings need to do

Hello,

First, you have to create a characteristic 'SQ_FT' using CT04. Now, you can assign characteristic 'SQ_FT' to the class with class type 30 using CL02. Now, you can enter SQ_FT in Site Master using WB02->Environment->Classfication Site.

Hi there,

Maintain the sq ft in layout tab.

the field "Sales Area" is meant for that purpose.

in the unit enter Sq Ft.

you can also create departments within your store and enter the area for each department as well.
