Can Upload external ( Time in / out ) data in to SQL2000

Hi SAP DB Experts,

In presence our SAP setup is - SAP ECC 5.0 , With MS SQL2000 and Windows 2003.

Can we direct upload external Data ( Time in / out) in Ztable of SQL 2000 thru ODBC.

By this we can check the live data.

Can it recommend / in process any company.

If no , Have any other process for same.

Technically possible, yes. Can it be recommended? absolutely no.

SAP uses one database user to run the system, if you give that user to someone, he can do everything in the system, he can even drop full tables.

On top all auditing requirements are down the drain.

> If no , Have any other process for same.

Use e. g. LSMW.
