Hi Nidhi,
Check if 'External Control Off' disabled or not....make it disable.
set data control in manual mode.
Check again admin info tab.

I am facing one more problem with this channel.
I changed the channel yesterday from Manual to automatic and this is showing as functioning but the channel did not worked today i.e it didnot pick the files today.
This is a NFS Receiver channel picking files from source folder appending the files to one file and placing it in target folder.
The files in Source folder are with time stamps so now if I manually start the Receiver Channel then also it does not create any file.
Please let me know how to solve this problem.

Nidhi
Hi Nidhi,
Please follow these sequence of steps to address this channel issue.
- Login ID
- Open Communication Channel
- Click on Edit Mode
- Put some dummy change (say a space) in the description of this channel
- save
-re-activate the channel from the change list
- stop & start the channel from RWB.
Hopefully this should address the problem.
Please let us know if this does not fix the issue.

Sekhar
Hi Sekhar,
I did this.
My enitre scenario is
I have one FTP sender picking file from FTP Folder
one Receiver NFS decripting the files and placing it in Source folder.
One NFS sender picking files from Source folder and putting in Archive Folder.
One NFS receiver Appending the files into one and Placing in Target folder.
First three channel worked well but the fourth one didnt.
So After doing the steps u mentioned wil this automaticall pick the files from Source folder where the files are with time stamps?
Regards,
Nidhi
