Hi,
We are having the same or similar issue as was described in this thread:
We are running 7.6.06.03 64bit on SLES Linux. My colleague did have the system in Overwrite mode initially which I asked her to change, she apparently shutdown the system, did a full backup and turned the logging back on enabling auto-logging. This morning I see auto logging was off for no apparent reason and the following error in knldiag.err
Free LogPages failed: Free IOSeqRange 6798120...6937808 but OldstNotSaved
=6798136
We tried to do a manual log backup without success.
I still can't read that "internal" note in the thread mentioned above. How do we correct the issue and more importantly what causes this error so we can avoid it in future ?
Thanks.
Regards,
Nelis
This appears to be a bug in MaxDB which will or may already be fixed in later versions.

I have asked my colleague to log a high priority call with SAP as this system is urgently needed for testing a support package implementation.
Thanks.
